A ministry born out of lived experience
Joseph and Leona know what restoration costs and what grace makes possible. Their own story of honesty, repentance, and rebuilt trust became the seed of this ministry.
They did not set out to build an organisation. They set out to keep telling the truth, to keep praying, and to keep showing up for the people God placed in front of them.

Over time, that quiet faithfulness became three ministry pathways, one for men, one for women, and one for marriages, each built on the same conviction that no one should have to heal alone.
Who We Are
The Culture of Grace Ministries exists to help men, women, and couples in the body of Christ break free from unwanted and unhealthy sexual behaviors, including pornography, sexual lust, and sexual fantasy. These behaviors not only affect individuals, marriages, families, and children, but also contribute to the demand that fuels the worldwide sex-trafficking industry. Current statistics cited by the ministry indicate that more than 68% of Christian men and over 40% of Christian women watch pornography at least once a week.
Through Spirit-led, Spirit-empowered small groups and curriculum-based sessions, we guide people on a journey with the Lord to uncover the roots of unwanted sexual behavior, which may be connected to past pain, wounds, and trauma, often beginning in childhood. Our focus extends beyond healing and restoration in Christ to helping people develop healthier ways of navigating the pain, trauma, and stresses of life.
The Culture of Grace Ministries serves the body of Christ through three distinct ministries focused on freedom from unwanted sexual behavior, healing from sexual betrayal, and the restoration and enhancement of Christ-centered marriages.
MINISTRY LEADERS
Meet Joseph & Leona
Joseph and Leona Njoku-Obi were childhood best friends in Nigeria in the 1960s. After being separated by war, they reunited in the United States in the late 1970s and married in 1982. Following struggles in their early marriage, they gave their lives to the Lord and experienced a journey of healing and restoration that inspired their calling to help others.
With over 25 years of marriage and couples ministry experience, Joseph and Leona are pastors, certified marriage specialists through N.A.M.E., and trained in biblical relational care. Drawing from their own experience with sexual addiction, betrayal, and restoration, they founded The Culture of Grace Ministries to help men, women, and couples pursue healing and stronger Christ-centered relationships.

OUR VISION
In a Christ-centered marriage, love is rooted in faith, commitment, and mutual respect. Couples are encouraged to grow together spiritually, supporting each other's journey with prayer and devotion. By prioritizing their relationship with God, they create a strong foundation that withstands life's challenges. Together, they can reflect Christ's love in their home, fostering an atmosphere of and understanding.
We seek to help couples heal from the damaging effects of unwanted sexual behaviors and betrayal to grow, develop and enhance their marriages, becoming Christ-centered husbands and wives who are accountable to the authority of the lordship of Jesus over their lives and marriage.

We exist so that people wounded by sexual brokenness can find healing in Christ. That happens through a handful of simple, unglamorous commitments we return to again and again.
Biblical Truth
Scripture sets the direction. We speak truth without shaming anyone who is trying to walk in the light.
Grace
No performance and no condemnation. Grace is the room in which honesty becomes possible.
Accountability
Freedom grows where people are known. Accountability here is supportive, consistent, and confidential.
Authentic Community
Safe groups where men, women, and couples can be honest about what they carry.

We pray with people and for people, trusting the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do.
